Biography

Ludvig will be 26 years old when the festival starts. Ludvig has accomplished more in his early years than many of us do in a lifetime. To begin with, he is the first concertmaster of the DR Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen, artistic director of the Norsjø Chamber Music Festival, and a member of the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.

But perhaps most importantly for us in Risør, he is one of us. He studied at Juilliard in New York, but his adventure began at the Risør School of Culture. We are incredibly proud that someone who will undoubtedly become a great violinist in the coming decades grew up in Risør.

You will hear Ludvig in several of the concerts this summer.
