Biografi

Alžběta Baldova is originally from Plžen in the Czech Republic, where she started with piano lessons, but later the clarinet sneaked in. She has stayed with it ever since.

She is educated from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. She has just completed the Artist Diploma program at the Norwegian Academy of Music.

She already has good experience as a soloist with orchestras such as Prague Chamber Orchestra, PKF-Prague Philharmonia, Plzeň Philharmonic, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.

This year marks her first visit to us at the Risør Chamber Music Festival.
