Et øyeblikk som kun skjer der og da, som vi alle deler. Det kan oppleves som veldig sterkt noen ganger.»

Biography

If you wonder what it means to be a versatile musician who can do it all, we suggest diving into Frode’s bass world. He is the regular bassist in the Oslo Philharmonic, but that is just scratching the surface.

He has over 40 recordings in classical, jazz, folk songs, and children’s songs. Not least, he is a Spellemann Award winner with the Helge Lien Trio. It is also worth mentioning that he has found time to be a band musician for Paul McCartney and Donna Summer.
