If you can’t find any social media accounts or websites with lots of promo pages about an artist, you might quickly think that this artist isn’t worth spending much time on. But it can also mean that this artist is so sought after and so active that social media and promotions are neither interesting nor needed.

Good luck going through everything Jarle has done in his career. There is a mountain of arrangements, compositions, recordings, and concerts. He is everywhere, with everyone, and he is especially known for his love of big band music.

But for Risør, it is especially important to emphasize that our artistic director Tine and Jarle have a close and tight collaboration. As long as Tine is involved with Risør, Jarle is a given for us.

You will hear Jarle at several concerts this summer.
