About Risor Chamber Music Festival
We were founded in 1991 and have for more than 30 years been at the forefront of Norwegian and international chamber music. Our purpose is:
... to present an annual festival featuring both central classical music and newer repertoire.
The aim is to identify musicians, Norwegian and international alike, who maintain a widely recognized high artistic standard or have documented indisputable talent.
The festival shall be a national and international forum for chamber music and shall also stimulate musical and cultural life in Risor and the region.
