You'd have to be living under a rock not to know how important Audun Sandvik is to Norwegian chamber music. What makes him such a perfect fit for us is that he's also an absolutely wonderful person.
It matters when you're spending a whole week so close together—Audun doesn't just share his musical gifts, but also his wonderful spirit with everyone. Musicians and audiences alike.
He understands Risør, and that's why we keep inviting him back. Nothing beats a virtuoso who can strike up a conversation with anyone on the street.
