About the Artist
Lars Notto Birkeland is an organist, conductor, pianist and accompanist with an extensive performing career. Since 2009, he has conducted Barratt Due’s chamber choir, and he has appeared as an organist at many of the most important festivals in Norway and internationally.
Since 2014, he has served as cantor at Akershus Castle Church.
If you have tickets for Sunday’s concerts, you will remember Lars and his organ for the rest of your life. It will be strikingly beautiful, and grand, when he unleashes the power of the organ in two churches in under two hours.
