About the Artist
Olga Larsson is a violinist from Laksevåg in Bergen. She began playing at Bergen School of Culture at the age of five, completed her bachelor's degree with Peter Herresthal at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, and is now pursuing a master's degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
She is an active chamber musician, with her own piano trio together with Sebastian Svenøy and Amalie Thing Helseth. She also performs regularly with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.
In 2021 she won her category in the Norwegian Youth Music Championships, and in 2024 she was a finalist in NRK's soloist competition Virtuos. Exactly the kind of musician we like to follow early.
