Ingrid Vetlesen

Ingrid Vetlesen, originally from Bærum, is a Norwegian soprano residing in Lillesand. She holds a solid education from the conservatories in Tromsø and Stavanger, as well as the Opera Academy in Copenhagen.

Ingrid has an impressive career behind her, with roles such as Barbarina in «The Marriage of Figaro» and Tebaldo in «Don Carlos» at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, Gianetta in «The Elixir of Love,» Rosalinde in «Romeo and Juliet» at the National Theater in Oslo, and Despina in «Cosi fan tutte» at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. She has also distinguished herself as an active concert soloist, performing with renowned orchestras such as the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Randers Chamber Orchestra, Oslo Symphony Orchestra, and the Scandinavian Chamber Soloists.

Ingrid has a special interest in chamber music and collaborates closely with pianists like Marita Kjetland Rabben, Monica Tomescu-Rohde, and Solveig Lie Refvik. She regularly tours with them and has been running the concept Opera + Pub at various locations in Southern Norway since 2018. Ingrid has also been a regular member of the Kilden Vocal Ensemble since 2018.
