When we set out to create the grand Festival Concert at Stangholmen, we knew it would take power, energy, and top-tier quality. So we called Emilia, and since she has fond memories of Risør from before, we got the yes we wanted. Then we knew Stangholmen will catch fire again this year.
She is one of the most important folk musicians in Scandinavia, and has won the world championship on the nyckelharpa, the Spellemann Award, and been nominated for a Grammy. In her beloved Sweden, she is simply musical nobility.
