About the concert

What happens when we look at the old and familiar with new eyes? How much can a well-known work endure being changed?

This concert is filled with composers and musicians who play with old works, but also musical concepts. POING transforms Grieg through saxophone, accordion and double bass. Errollyn Wallen deconstructs boogie-woogie for violin, while Hindemith challenges what chamber music could be.

But one thing is certain: gold lasts forever, because quality endures everything.
